As the month comes to a gradual close, we are thankful for the rich history that the faith has given us. We see the lives of those who went before us, those who stayed in ‘the ship’, and those who left the fold, renouncing all that they once believed. With so many pioneers in our past, we can possibly identify with one or more individuals. Who do you identify with? Are you a reluctant-yet-obedient Miller? Are you a natural-born promoter and preacher like Himes? Or do you identify with the courageous and self-disciplined Bates or someone else? We would love to hear it (send us a comment or an email).
We can learn many precious things from our past. We encourage you to get acquainted with your faith’s heritage and learn from the remarkable stories of men and women whom God has used in the past. We all leave some legacy behind, let’s leave a Godly one for future generations.
