By now, everyone is acquainted with the recent hurricanes that have ravaged the Caribbean and the United States. Harvey, Jose and Irma made their appearances, grew in intensity and size, and left a path of widespread damage and death. These cyclones are now either gone or fading slowly, but recovery efforts may take a few months (or even a few years) so, much help is still needed. Here are some organizations that are accepting donations:
The Caribbean
- Antigua and Barbuda’s Red Cross
- UNICEF Caribbean Fund For Hurricane Irma
- ADRA Emergency Donation For Hurricane Irma
The U.S.
- American Red Cross: Hurricane Irma Volunteers Needed
- The United Way Houston Chapter
- Volunteer Houston: For Hurricane Harvey
There are still many more charitable organizations you can donate to, so please consider donating today (and please be sure to verify the authenticity of any organization you donate to). Continue praying and interceding for those affected by these storms.
