One of the best things about a new year is the hope that it brings. No matter what the former year brought, many look forward to a new year and the new possibilities it can afford. If you already have goals or are considering new ones in 2022, we want to leave you with 3 points to help you navigate all the resolutions you made for this new year:
1. Seek God’s Will – There are some things you don’t need to pray and ask if it is God’s will. It is God’s will that we should all be saved, know truth (1 Tim 2:3-4) and be healthy (3 John 1:2), but what about other things? When you are considering something new in your life, pray and fast, search The Holy Scriptures and seek Christian mentors/counselors for additional guidance.
2. Search and Research – If you have gotten the go-ahead with your new dream, write it down and spend time researching it. Also, seek out individuals who may already be doing what you are considering and speak to them. If you discover (or if you already know) that your new venture will cost money, don’t forget to count the cost.
3. Go Forward – After doing all the research, go forward. This will look differently for different people: for some, you may have to hire an attorney, for others, you may be able to move forward on your own or with others. Whatever your goal path, have a plan and keep revisiting, modifying (and praying) over the plan as needed.
You may already know that with any new goal, dream or task, there are often more steps to consider than what you originally considered. Don’t lose heart, the tallest buildings need the deepest foundations to stay standing upright. Start working on your foundations this 2022 and may God be with you in your goals!
