The most memorable date in Seventh-day Adventist history is almost here: October 22.
In 1844, believers who accepted the Advent Message (that Christ was going to return in 1843, and then in 1844) prepared their hearts and homes for what they believed would be the end of the world, and the return of Christ Jesus on October 22, 1844. The LORD didn’t return then and many hearts were sorely broken.
