There is something powerful about salt. Salt has many uses, and because of this, Jesus used it in His sermon in Matthew 5. Here is what Christ said:
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
Matthew 5:13 KJV
Christ said we are the salt of the earth. We are to season the world with our kindness, thoughtfulness and Christlikeness. As we embrace this new week, may we not lose our savor, but continue to enrich the lives of those around us.
