It is still winter in many parts of the U.S. and other countries. There are some that do not like the cold, ice and snow that the winter brings, but we encourage you to find joy and happiness in this season.
Before you complain about the winter, why not try to embrace it. Almost 2 years ago, we wrote an article with some exciting winter activities to try. Besides these suggestions, we wanted to mention a couple of things you should do during this season:
Take a hike – There is nothing as simple and refreshing as taking a walk. According to the restrictions you may still have imposed in your area due to COVID-19), take precautions and get outside to enjoy the crisp and fresh air that a winter walk can bring.
Get creative – Creativity is the key to adventure! If you have snow, build something atypical with it. Everyone usually builds a snowman or a snow fort, what do you think you can do with the piles of white stuff you have? We would love to see!
Go sight-seeing – Invest in a good pair of binoculars and grab your phone or camera. Spend some quality time looking through your devices to see nature’s winter beauty. Take some pictures and print some of them to keep or to send to someone.
Is there anything else that you can think of? Do you do something that brings you joy during this time? Please let us know! We would love to add it to a subsequent blog post.
