We are fast approaching the Fall season. If you look carefully, you may notice some of the leaves have started to change color and some have even started shedding their leaves already. Although we are far from Springtime, all nature still has to continuing growing and changing as the times change. It is the same for us. We have to continuing growing and maturing as well.
No matter what the season, we should continue growing in character and in Christ. The Bible is filled with scripture that remind us that we must grow and mature in our Christianity. Here are some:
1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Are you spending time with God daily? Are you growing? Seeking daily to learn from Him to be more like Him.
