Mother’s day is the official day to commemorate mothers and mother-figures in our lives, but I wanted to encourage you to do something different this year and future years. I want you to remember the forgotten mothers: mothers who have lost children, those who are struggling in our home areas, those in war-torn nations, those who have taken in children due to difficult situations, and the list goes on. Without neglecting the ones related to you, remember ‘other mothers’ and find ways to help and encourage them this season.
