Are you tired? Does it seem like as soon as a new day begins, you are already exhausted? You may be overworked, over-taxed and sleep deprived.
There are so many things in this life that fight for our attention: our careers, our families, social media, our hobbies and so on. Many of us would like to give everything and everyone 100% of our time, but this is impossible. With all the things on our schedules, when was the last time we had a scheduled break.
You heard me. A scheduled break. For many of us, if it’s not in our calendars, we won’t do it. Besides the much-needed seven to eight hours of daily sleep and the weekly Sabbath rest, we also need a break (or two) during each day. Take a break, put away all your gadgets, spend some mental and physical time alone (as much as possible), and even take a nap while you are at it.
